For schools whose Academic or Survey scores have changed a measurable amount (greater than 2) you will see either an “improving” 
or “worsening” 
icon in the “Overview” section of any school or program page.
The calculation is: (Most recent score - Average of scores from the previous two years). If that value is greater or less than 2, then you will see one of the above icons.
Example:
Most recent Academic Score: 76.98
Average score from previous two years: 72.31
Therefore, an “improving” icon will be shown.
Most recent Survey Score: 80.65
Average score from previous two years: 73.93
Therefore, an “improving” icon will be shown.
