Program rank data is now available for 2024-25.
You can now see a program’s rank average and how many times a program was ranked at each position by applicants.
Every year, students rank programs on applications in order of preference. A lower rank average suggests that this program is ranked higher among applicants.
For example, if 10 students ranked a program as their first choice and 5 students ranked a program as their second choice, the rank average for this program would be 1.33 ( ((10 * 1) + (5 * 2))/ 15 )
This data is shown in the “Applicant Analysis” section under a program description. Clicking on the Rank Avg. number will show exactly how the program was ranked by applicants.
Please keep in mind that 2024-25 is the first year that allowed unlimited applicant lists. Because of this, many rank averages will be quite different from previous years.
