The opening day for HS applications is coming soon!
This is a big day not just because of the release of lottery numbers and tiers, but the DOE also releases updated school information for the 2026-27 school year. Soon after this date (October 6th), NYC-SIFT will be updating several key informational pieces:
- Offer predictions: This will include estimated cutoffs and color-coded offer prediction for your student
- Applicant analysis: Breakdown of last year’s applicants and program selections
- School information: NYC-SIFT will update all school information to official 2026-27 data such as:
- Address and contact information
- School budgets
- Clubs
Later in November, more data is expected to be released by the DOE such as:
- Class sizes
- Pupil-to-teacher ratios
- Discipline and bullying reports
