Hello, I logged in using a different computer than I set my account up with, and my favorites are empty. When I log in using the original computer things are fine. Using Chrome for both.

Everything on NYC-SIFT is saved with cookies, which means that things like favorites are only stored per device. However, you can share favorites between devices by using the “Share Favorites” icon on the Favorites page (the angled line with dots on the top right hand side). This will generate a link that you can send. Clicking this link from a new device will then load those favorites into this new device’s cookies.
An intentional decision was made to eliminate user accounts from the site (from both a complexity and security perspective), except for these forums. Unfortunately, this means that things like favorites will require extra steps to share data between devices.
