Hi Adrian, Does Sift have a “10th grade admissions” filter option? I don’t see it
Yes!
Under the “School Specific” category, the filter option is called “Additonal Features” → “10th Grade Seats”.
ok great, I found that! How does sift know that i’m applying for 10th grade when calculating my chances of an offer. Is that built into the lottery number? Or is there another place to put that information
It actually doesn’t. Unfortunately cutoffs and offer predictions only apply to 9th grade applicants. The DOE releases very little information for 10th grade applicants other that the fact that there are seats available for a particular school. I’ve asked the DOE for information but they’ve refused to do so. Sorry!
