Cutoff calculation changes

Change #1
In cases where all program applicants were given an offer in the previous year, the displayed cutoff will read “All accepted” and the prediction bar will always point to green.

Change #2
Default screened group distributions have now been changed to the following due to a recent report on city-wide screened group distributions (https://nycsift.com/uploads/screenedgroups2023-24.jpg). This will result in more accurate cutoff estimates.

  • Group 1 = 19.3%

GE DIA Applicants

  • Group 1 = 16.8%

Screened group distributions for three programs were modified to reflect data collected by the 2023-24 NYC-SIFT application survey (found here: NYC-SIFT: Search for NYC High Schools). This will result in more accurate cutoff estimates.
