When you’re in “Schools & Programs”, you may notice the text “Default View” above the search bar.
This is an adjustable value that will show different columns depending on which view you select.
The different views serve different purposes:
Default View
This is the view that has existed since the beginning. It shows columns for typical ordering purposes:
- Number of students or Admissions Method
- Applicants / Seats and Applicants per Seat
- Academic Score
- Survey Score
Safety View
This view focuses on displaying safety-related metrics:
- Number of students or Admissions Method
- Total Issues (complaints + suspensions)
- Issues per student
- Safety Score, which is is an average of the following survey ratings: Student Safety, Student Bully Prevention, Teacher Student Behavior, and Family Safety
IEP View
This view focuses on displaying IEP-related metrics:
- Total Students or Admissions Method
- Percent of student population that has an IEP
- Service Score, which is an average of these two IEP services: Percentage of IEP students receiving all recommended special education programs and Percentage of IEP students receiving all recommended related services
- IEP Score, which is the “IEP Support” survey value from the yearly DOE survey. This is an average of ratings families give regarding IEP support.
