The DOE has provided data on how programs were ranked on applications. This means you can see how many times a program was ranked #1 on applications (or #2, or #3, etc.). You can find this information in the “Applicant Analysis” section of every program section. The row is labeled “Rank Avg” and shows the average ranking across all applications. Clicking on this average will show you a more detailed breakdown of the distribution.
This gives additional insight into how students are ranking programs. For example, applicants who list ElRo tend to do so at the top of their applications (#1 and #2) while those who apply to Baruch list them a little lower (#3 - #5). Combining this information with other data like applicants per seat will give you a better understanding of a program’s popularity.
