I’ve generated a new spreadsheet that ranks programs according to a new rating: “Gem” score. The Gem score is intended to give preference to schools that provide an excellent learning environment and show a strong educational impact on their students. The spreadsheet is available here: GemRanking2024-25.xlsx or can be found in “Guides” → “Data & Reports” → “Data Downloads”
Within this spreadsheet you will find two sheets. The first sheet contains all Open, Screened, and Ed. Opt. programs ranked by their Gem score. The second sheet (labeled “Hidden Gems”) only contains programs that had 5 or less true applicants per GE seat. I’m not sure if 5 applicants per seat counts as “hidden”, but it does remove the most popular programs and gives you a quick list of great programs that fly under the radar.
