This data can be found under the “Student & Admissions Statistics” section of every school and program page in the line “Complaints / Suspensions”.
Suspension reports are broken down by grade, gender, and suspension code.
This data should be used in conjunction with school size and survey results to determine overall student behavior at a school.
Suspensions indicates action by school staff to address behavioral issues. If survey results concerning safety, bully prevention, and student behavior are positive, this would imply that the school is making effective use of suspensions to address problematic students. Please know that the number of suspensions is a total value and does not indicate how many unique students were the cause of those suspensions.
